The City of Oak Park seeks individuals who are interested in working the election polls for the August 2 Primary Election and the November 8 General Election. The City hires approximately 175 Election Inspectors who facilitate the voting process. Eligible candidates are registered voters in the State of Michigan and skilled in the basic use of laptops. Applicants should be capable of interacting with the public in a professional and friendly manner. The position pays $150 for the day, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is also a training stipend paid for training.
