The Oak Park Library card allows cardholders the ability to gain access to the Michigan eLearning service, or MeL. MeL is an eLibrary that is accessible 24 hours per day, seven days per week. It provides Michigan residents with free access to online articles, books, digital images, and other valuable research information

• Library cardholders can get access to full-text articles from tens of thousands of magazines and newspapers. There is a wide variety of information available for kids, adults, and on specialized topics such as car repair and practice tests.
• MeL Michigana provides visitors with photographs, diaries, oral histories, local records and historical Michigan data. View a video to familiarize yourself with MeL Michigana.
• In addition, the MeL Gateways feature provides specialized resources in health, business and areas for kids and teens.
