City Manager Erik Tungate is Re-Elected to Executive Committee of SEMCOG

City Manager Erik Tungate has been re-elected to the Executive Committee of the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, or SEMCOG. The Executive Committee conducts the main policy work of the organization. It monitors the operation of SEMCOG. As the chief working committee of SEMCOG and the financial control body for the organization, it proposes, discusses, and reviews regional studies and plans, and takes action on policies and legislative positions.  City Manager Tungate's election to this committee bodes well for the City of Oak Park as he will be well positioned to identify all types of opportunities that will directly benefit residents and business owners.
