The Human Resources & Operations Department is also responsible for the negotiation of Collective Bargaining Agreements.  The City of Oak Park has four Unions:  

• Technical, Professional, and Officeworkers Association of Michigan
• Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM) for Patrol & Detectives
• Police Officers Association of Michigan (POAM) for Dispatchers
• Police Officers Labor Council (POLC) for Command Officers
