Library Services

The Oak Park Library is charged with providing the community with Library facilities and programs to enrich the quality of life for the residents of Oak Park, particularly in the promotion of literacy and reading. To do so, the Library provides the following services:

LibraryPrintServicesDocument Printing / Faxing / Scanning Center / Notary
The Library offers a new document station which can scan, email, and fax documents. 
Scanning documents to email, cloud account, or saved to a USB/flash drive is a free service.
Faxing costs $1 per page; cover sheets can be added at no extra charge.

Printing costs from our computer lab:
                                            Black & White 15 cents
                                            Color: 50 cents
                                            Notary Service available by appointment. Cost is $5 cash or check only per notarized document.

Computer access includes internet, microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint).

The Oak Park Library card allows cardholders the ability to gain access to the Michigan eLearning service, or MeL. Learn More

MAPMichigan Activity Passes (MAP)
A Library cardholder can obtain free or discounted passes to hundreds of cultural destinations and natural attractions within Michigan through the Michigan Activity Pass, or MAP, program. The MAP website provides full details on how to obtain the passes and includes a travel map based on the cardholder’s location.
