The City of Oak Park Department of Public Works is a proud recipient of the Tree City designation again this year.  This is our 41st year receiving this award and our 21st year as a Growth Award recipient.  In Oak Park, we take pride in our mature tree lined streets and strive to continue to plant trees throughout the community.  

If you would like to request a tree planted in front of your property (in the city right-of-way, the area between the sidewalk and the street), please complete the form below.

Once we begin the process of selecting tree locations for each planting season, city staff will inspection each property to ensure that the area is large enough and can support the growth of a tree.
