DTE Energy Power Outage Update

Remember to look out for downed power lines. Stay back at least 20 feet from the line or anything it touches. Before letting pets outside, check your backyard for any signs of down power lines. Report downed power lines to DTE at (800) 477-4747 and your local public safety department (248) 691-7520 (Oak Park) immediately.

ClickOnDetroit is reporting an update from DTE on the power outage. DTE has called in 400 additional resources from Ohio who will be assigned troubled locations today to assist local crews. Approximately 370,000 have been impacted by the storm, 120,000 restored and, according to the report, DTE anticipates that 90% of the remaining 250,000 customers will have power by end of day Tuesday, April 17.
