Family archive kits can be utilized to scan family photos or documents to a flash drive. All people using the kit must provide their own flash drive (storage device) to save the files on.

Family Archive Kit contains:
1) High Speed Photo Scanner
2) Flat Bed Scanner
3) Laptop with Scanner Software

Process for checking out the kit:

1) Sign up for an appointment
Appointments are on Wednesday afternoons or evening.
After you sign up, you will be contacted by phone to set up an appointment.
At the appointment, you will learn how to use the equipment.
You can use the equipment during the appointment day at the library or you can check out the equipment to take home.
You will need your own storage device, your library card, and a picture ID.

2) Check out the family archive kit for three days.
3) Fill out the evaluation (for grant purposes).
