How do you calculate my utility bill?

Utility bills are determined by the amount of water that passes through your water meter multiplied by the current water and sewer rates. For example, if you receive a bill and in the “current usage” column you were billed for seven (7) units of water, we would calculate your monthly bill as follows:

Typical Water & Sewage Units

Water Consumption

Sewage Disposal

Meter Charge

Typical Residential Stormwater Runoff

Rubbish Collection

Effective July 1, 2021
: Water and Sewer rates were approved by City Council on June 21, 2021. Stormwater treatment cost will now be displayed as an individual line item on all customers utility bills going forward. For more information on our stormwater billing changes, visit this webpage.
