Parents, take a few minutes to make sure your child’s car safety seat is installed correctly. The cities of Oak Park, Berkley and Beverly Hills are partnering to offer a free safety check Oct. 15 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Berkley Community Center at 2400 Robina Ave. in Berkley. Bring children and car seats and drive away knowing you’ve cut their risk or serious injury substantially. Appointments are not necessary.
