A water main shut-off is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of the City of Oak Park's water main repair and replacement program.

Water service will be temporarily shut off in the following areas:

• Wildwood Avenue from Nine Mile Road to Rosemary Avenue
• Rosemary Avenue from Marlow Avenue to Radclift Avenue
• Radclift Avenue from Rosemary Avenue to Oak Park Boulevard

Residents whose properties are affected by the shutoff did receive notification letters.

Reminders: residents are encouraged to store water in advance for household needs and keep bottled water on hand during the shutoff. Following restoration of service, some residents may experience temporary water discoloration. If this occurs, run cold water from a bathtub faucet or laundry sink until the water runs clear.

Please note that the scheduled timeframe is an estimate and may change based on field conditions. City crews will work as efficiently and safely as possible to complete the work and restore service while keeping residents informed throughout the process.
