Join us for a free, family-friendly afternoon showcasing the best of Oak Park’s Nine Mile corridor. Explore our vibrant business district as local shops and parks come alive with petting zoos, live magic, scavenger hunts and sidewalk sales. It’s the perfect day to discover our thriving community and enjoy interactive activities for all ages.

Cruise & Groove

Aug. 13

Gear up for a night of classic cool at Oak Park’s annual Cruise & Groove event.

Experience the 11 Mile Social District transformed into a vintage-car haven featuring more than 40 classic vehicles, live local music, great food and drinks from our social district businesses.

This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to grab a brew, admire stunning rides and soak up the community vibe.

Tower Tailgate/Lion’s Season Opener 

Sept. 17

Kick off the season in style at the Water Tower Social District for the Lions' season opener. The party starts at 7 p.m. (game time is 8:20 p.m.).

Mingle with fellow fans, enjoy food and drinks from local breweries and restaurants and relax with lawn games and music.

We'll have a large, outdoor screen to catch all the action, but don't forget your lawn chair!

This is the perfect spot to kick off what promises to be an amazing Detroit Lions season. Get ready to roar!

Get your Bavarian on at the 11 Mile Water Tower Social District!

This free, family friendly event features live German music, German food and drinks, and classic Bavarian contests—including stein holding and a costume contest. Don’t miss the kids' zone from 4 to 6 p.m.
