The Summer Entertainment Series, which runs from July 15 through Aug. 19, allows residents and non-residents to get outside and enjoy the tunes of artists across several genres. Concerts are Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the Oak Park Event Hub Amphitheater.

Motor City Josh and The Big Three
Blues band Motor City Josh was established in 1990 and spent from 1995 to 2015 touring throughout the 48 contiguous states. He and his bandmates logged hundreds of thousands of miles riding up and down the highways and byways of America. In the process, they amassed a loyal following throughout the south and all along the East Coast - traveling from Key West, Florida to Rockland, Maine.
On July 15, they will be motoring The Blues the way only they can do it!

Black Lake Band
Black Lake delivers a powerful mix of Jazz-fusion, neo-soul, old/new school R&B, blues and hip hop, blending a raw energy with heartfelt storytelling and electrifying, soulful vibes. Black lake Band is bold, dynamic, smooth, classy and unforgettable.

UPRIZIN
Uprizin Steel drum band is considered one of the best steel drum (pan band) in the Midwest region. Authentic pan playing and singing, with hints of calypso, reggae, Motown and Latin music. A true summer evening of fun!
Aug. 5
Detroit Opera’s “Summer Serenade”
This evening will feature vocalists and musicians from Detroit Opera in a program of opera favorites, art songs and songs from the Broadway stage. A true delight!
