The Summer Concert Series, which ran from July 15 through Aug. 19, allows residents and non-residents to get outside and enjoy the tunes of artists across several genres. Concerts are Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the Oak Park Event Hub Amphitheater.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, picnic dinner or purchase dinner from one of our food vendors.

UPRIZIN

Uprizin Steel drum band is considered one of the best steel drum (pan band) in the Midwest region. Authentic pan playing and singing, with hints of calypso, reggae, Motown and Latin music. A true summer evening of fun!

Detroit Opera’s “Summer Serenade”

This evening will feature vocalists  and musicians from Detroit Opera in a program of opera favorites, art songs and songs from the Broadway stage. A true delight!

Chris Canas Band

The Chris Canas Band has a well-blended set of classic covers and clever, roller coaster like originals that keep the audience captivated and coming back for more.

With the bands diverse mix of Blues, Funk, and Soul they are always well equipped to bring the party wherever they go and have the dance moves to boot. With heart-wrenching vocals, pulse pounding rhythms and an electric energy that can be felt in the air, this band is unstoppable. Smoke Jones Band

The Smoke Jones Heart & Soul Band will take Oak Park on a journey of memorable jazz, blues and soul music! Smoke has assembled an all-star horn section to showcase the big, live Detroit sound that has become famous worldwide! In addition to performing some of his own recently released original music, Smoke will perform a special song dedicated to his late, great friend, Bobby Murray. Let's end the 2026 Oak Park Concert series season on a bright note!
