* Correction Statement: Our 2017 Consumer Confidence Report listed the 90th percentile for lead as <2 parts per billion (ppb).  The correct value for our system’s most recent 90th percentile should have been listed as 4.3 ppb, which is still below the 15 ppb action level for lead. We apologize for this error. The Oak Park - 2018 Annual Water Quality Report link above contains a corrected copy of the Report.

Complete Distribution System Material Inventory (CDSMI)

The City of Oak’s Complete Distribution System Material Inventory (CDSMI) report shows the city is free of any known lead service lines.

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) sets the guidelines water suppliers must follow to define their water service lines.

While the program requires the city to verify 370 random water service lines throughout our system, the link below shows the progress we have made as of October 16, 2024:

If you have questions about your water service line or would like to schedule a home visit with a city water technician, call (248) 691-7465.

The CDSMI project is a mandated program from EGLE.
