The 45th District Court performs marriages for people who live in the cities of Oak Park, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge and Royal Oak Township.

All weddings are performed at the courthouse at 13600 Oak Park Blvd.

Marriage licenses
To schedule a wedding at the 45th District Court, you must first get a marriage license from the Oakland County Clerk’s Office, at 1200 N Telegraph Road in Pontiac.

You must bring the marriage license with you at the time scheduled for your wedding.

If you or your future spouse live in one of the jurisdictions above, call (248) 691-7440 ext. 2 to schedule the wedding.

What to bring to the marriage ceremony

  • A valid State of Michigan marriage license.
  • Two witnesses over the age of 18.
  • $10 marriage fee.
