Library Board
About:
The Library Board consists of seven Oak Park residents. The Library Board is responsible for reviewing all library finances, approving library policies, and coordinating the strategic plan. Each Library Board member is appointed by the City Council for a period of two years. Library Board members are unpaid volunteers. To become a member of the Oak Park Public Library Board, contact the Clerks Department or fill out a Boards and Commissions Application.

Meetings:
The Library Board meets every third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 in the Executive Conference Room of City Hall. Meetings are open to the public for viewing. Participation is limited to the "Public Comment" section of the agenda. Each participant is allowed two minutes to speak.
