On May 18, 2026 water and sewer rates were approved by the city council. The new rates began July 1, 2026.

Your City of Oak Park utility bill is due on or around the 20th of each month. The exact date may shift by up to three business days depending on weekends, federal holidays and U.S. Postal Service delivery schedules.

The Utility Billing Division handles billing and collection for:

• Water
• Sewer
• Stormwater runoff
• Infrastructure charges
• Rubbish collection
• Industrial waste control

Staff also read and maintain water meters and help residents identify potential leaks in their homes.

The Utility Billing Office is open:

• Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Every other Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
